Dovie's Restaurant offers the perfect location in the heart of Addison at the former estate of Hollywood Actor/War Veteran Audie Murphy. Our establishment is well equipped to accomodate up to 220 guests & our 7 various dining room sizes can adapt for any parties of 6 to 100 guests. For all gatherings our facilities include full china service, table linens, champagne or wine glasses for toasts, classical table skirtings for cake, gift & head tables and 3 wood burning fireplaces. We offer either cash or open bar options and our professional bartending staff. The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated to provide an elegant atmosphere. Your favorite band or D.J. facilities are located near the dance floor and all of your guests will have a great view of your festivities from our floor to ceiling windows opening out to our elegant outdoor courtyard dining area.

Designed by an east coast architect and built in the 1930's Dovie's was first used as a farm house on what was then the prairie. When the house became Dovie's in May, 1980, only the large courtyard room was added. The upstairs bedrooms were converted to dining rooms and a bar. Downstairs, the breakfast and dining rooms, lounge and den all remain mostly as they were in 1930. At Dovies Restaurant the menus are a twist on traditional and modern American food.
